Dr Ileana Carreño

Dr. Ileana was born in the beautiful city of Barranquilla, Colombia. She came to the United States in 1967, and finished high school and college in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 1975 with a Bachelor's Degree in microbiology. Ileana then went on the get her Dental Degree from the same university in 1979. She is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and the Hawaii Dental Association. Other Associations she is affiliated with include the Kaua'i County Dental association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Spear Education group. She loves attending courses and staying current with all aspects of dentistry, both material advancements and technology.

Dr Carreno has two children, Suzie and Shey, as well as four grandchildren>

Dr. Carreno is also one of Kauai's local artists. You can see her beautiful work throughout our office. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and friends, making jewlery, and painting. Dr's office has been in Kilauea for some 38 years and has become a staple to the Kilauea community.
